Privacy and Your Information -
At A Glance
Your privacy matters.
When you get in touch, I only collect the information I need to support our work together. I keep it securely and only share it where I'm legally or ethically required to do so.
As part of my professional practice, I keep brief notes to support our work. These aren't a word-for-word record of our conversations.
My work as a counsellor, clinical supervisor and training provider continually informs my thinking. The learning I share comes from patterns recognised across years of professional practice, never from information that could identify an individual.
Everything we discuss remains confidential unless there's a legal requirement to share information, a significant safeguarding concern, or an immediate risk of serious harm.
I normally keep counselling records for seven years after our work ends before securely destroying them.
If you'd like to know more about how I look after your information, you can read my full Privacy Notice or simply ask.
