Community of Practice

Service Description

Throughout my training experience, I have valued being able to discuss all aspects of the work with other counselling and supervisory practitioners. It is a different way of learning that keeps me current, allows me into the perspectives of others and helps me to feel like part of a professional community and help me feel less isolated in my professional role. This Community of Practice (CoP) is being offered as an opportunity to spend a few hours in the company of other counsellors, trainee counsellors and supervisors to share practice insights and discuss common topics. This is deliberately being offered at a minimal cost to cover room hire and refreshment charges, in recognition that this is about what we, as participants, make it. Basically, we are all making the agenda so that the CPD event is what we want it to be.
