What to expect in:

Ongoing therapy

I reserve a full session for our first meeting so up to an hour is the usual for counselling.

Everybody's experience is unique to them however the first session does follow a process:

  • I will explain what I do to help keep your information private and confidentiality

  • You will be able to begin to tell me a little bit about yourself and what it is that is going on for you

  • We will be able to talk about your hopes - what you ideally want to get out of our sessions and conversations

  • If you have had counselling, coaching or clinical supervision before, you will be able to tell me what was helpful

  • You can also ask me any questions that you might have

As I say, your sessions will be unique to you so this session is very helpful in working out how we go forward from here.

Issues that might benefit from ongoing therapy include anxiety, depression, confidence and ongoing relationship problems.

If you would like to make an appointment for our first session, or if you have any questions, please contact me.

Single session therapy

This session lasts up to 90 minutes and is intended to be a single event (although if you choose to book another session you can do).

The session is longer so that you have time to tell me about the specific issue in detail so that I can gain a good understanding.

Next, we will work together to find possible next steps for you to put in place when you are ready.

The session is tailored to your particular needs but issues that might benefit from a single session include a difficult decision that you feel stuck with.

Contact me if you would like more information or to make an appointment.

Clinical Supervision

Please contact me for a brief conversation to discuss your needs.
