I've been thinking hard about what to put in the New Years blog post. I knew that I wanted it to be forward looking without the need to make any unrealistic commitments, yet reflective without the need to be self-critical. Oh, and I wanted it to be quick!
So here it is - just 2 little questions ...
These two little questions come from one of the most accessible personal development tools that I know, and one that I have used and shared so many times that I have lost count.
There are a few reasons why I like this tool so much.
a) are entirely personal to you and your own goals, and
b) can be huge (eg paying off a large credit card bill) or smaller (eg not drinking coffee after 5pm).
You don't have to have a pen and paper in your hand to come up with your answers to these questions, although it would be a great prompt for some journal writing.
ie kind to ourself. Even if we want to do something different to last year, we don't have to dwell on our mistakes or inadequacies. Instead we can focus positively on what doing something different means - what will you do differently?
